The family of John A. Hester has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 125 Brotherhood Fund in Mr. Hester’s name.
John Alvin Hester, born June 1, 1946, in Bay Arkansas. He battled three primary cancers over the past 15 years. John passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus at the age of 78 with his four children at his bedside in his home on May 12, 2025.
John led a remarkable career of 40 years in the Electrical industry as an IBEW Journeyman Lineman and later a Safety Manager. He worked for multiple utilities and construction jobs across the United States and British Columbia Canada. John was always spoke highly of by his Managers, Supervisors, Foreman and Pole Partners. He said his most memorable day in his career was the day he was able to work with both his sons in the trade.
