Description
On Sunday October 18th, IBEW Local 125Journeyman Lineman Brother
Tony Van Cleave passed away due to a hunting accident. The local media reported that Tony was chukar hunting in eastern Oregon with one of his sons and his son’s friend, when he fell down a rock chute, resulting in his death.
He was an avid outdoorsman, no matter the hunting or fishing season, a strong Union advocate with 30 years in the line trade, the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his own back if it could help and above all, deeply committed to his wife and three sons.
Tony will be missed by his family at home, his IBEW family, his friends and the many youth baseball programs he was deeply involved with.
